No, that would not be advisable. The focal length of Olympus’ tube lens (180mm) is not the same as that of other manufacturers. As a result, the magnification of the objective would not be accurate. Also, aberrations would be introduced because other companies correct for lateral chromatic aberration in the tube lens; the new Olympus objectives for the B-Max series achieve this correction in the objectives themselves. Also, the objective probably would not be parfocal with Olympus objectives.
