Can I use an FTP client other than Filezilla?

0

Filezilla is the FTP client currently supported by IT Services, meaning that we can provide information and guidance on its use. The previously supported client WS_FTP is no longer supported although there is some configuration information for WS_FTP still available. We cannot normally answer questions or offer advice on other FTP clients. If you prefer to use a different package, you will probably be able to configure it to work with the University FTP proxy firewall, but you will have to refer to its manufacturer’s information to find out how to change the settings. The host name and port settings will be the same as those described in the details of how to configure Filezilla.
