Regular aluminum foil and household waxed paper are intended for short term storage in the refrigerator. Heavy duty aluminum foil is recommended for freezer use. Note: If acid foods like fruits are wrapped in foil, a bitter or metallic taste may result. You may also see some color reactions in food and corrosion of foil.
