Can I use air instead of nitrogen whan I test my filter?
For bubble point testing the air source is negligeable. When performing a diffusion test however, the manufacturer’s test gas will be identified on the specification because the soluability of gases within water is a physical characteristic of that said gas (differebt gases diffuse at different rates, Carbon dioxide is not recommended).
