Can I use a word processing program to make a web page?
Because of your familiarity with word processing, this may be the easiest way to make a web page. To begin open ClarisWorks 5.0 on either a PC or a Mac. Start a new word processing file. If the Button bar at the top of the screen is not showing, click on the Window menu item, scroll down and choose Show Button Bar. Click on the at the leftmost edge of the button bar. You should see a list of choices beginning with Default, Internet, Assistant… Choose Internet. You will then see a button bar like the following across the top of your ClarisWorks 5 document. Heading Type the title of your web page. Select the title by dragging across it and choose a larger size font. Graphic If you have a digital photograph of yourself you would like to include, be sure it is some place on the hard drive of your computer. Place the cursor where you would like the picture.
