It’s looking like the answer is no. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 was specially programmed to use a variety of third-party hardware for online play, because the Sony network adaptor wasn’t ready yet. Now, Sony wants its hardware solution to be the only one around, so that’s the specific piece of ware you’ll need.
