Can I use a softphone with my VoIP account?
Yes. A softphone is broadly an internet telephone on your computer, thus removing the need to have a physical telephone. This is useful for people on the move who might want to make calls from their office phone when connected to a wireless broadband connection elsewhere (e.g. in a hotel or airport lounge). We recommend the SNOM softphone as this is the one for the hardware that we supply. Please follow the instructions in the attached document to setup and configure your softphone for use. Please note that the softphone is available for customers to use at their own leisure, but we do not support this software as it has been discontinued by Snom.
