Can I use a particular engine for the Enduro?
The biggest issue with engine selection is weight. We designed the plane to balance with everything from the small Tower .40 (11.4 oz w/muffler), to the very robust Rossi .45. We believe these bracket he acceptable weight ranges for all 40 size engines. Power wise, the Jett .46 is probably the strongest engine you could ever use on our plane. Keep in mind, what you buy with the extra bucks for this engine is rocket-like vertical performance. Even a Tower Hobbies .46 will launch an Enduro vertically with an 11×5 prop. Except for a rising inverted flat spin, all maneuvers — including the rotolanding, can be done with any .40 size engine.
