Can I use a paratill in conjunction with the One Trip Plow?
Yes. This works best when the OTP follows the paratill. In this arrangement it is more effective if the paratill shanks face the opposite side of the row from the OTP shanks. This prevents the OTP plow shank from falling off in the same groove that has been made by the paratill. If the paratill follows the One Trip Plow it needs to go in the same direction on the same side so as not to fight the debris in the bed. The horsepower required by the paratill will be reduced because of the breaking the OTP has already accomplished. However this arrangement is better after youve waited a few days or it has rained and the debris and soil are more bound together and settled.
