Can I use a Network-Attached Storage device (NAS) with the Squeezebox family of products?

Yes—you can use NAS with the Squeezebox family of products. However, there are several steps involved in this type of set up that differ by NAS device manufacturer. Primarily, either this device will need to have our Squeezebox Server software installed and running* or the NAS device must be readable by a computer running Squeezebox Server software. *Currently we only support the Netgear ReadyNAS product line listed here. These devices come pre-installed with Squeezebox Server.
