Yes, if you’re a registered user or getamap subscriber: If you have a Garmin handheld GPS select ‘My handheld devices’ from the left-hand menu . You can ‘sync’ your Garmin device to getamap using the Garmin Communicator software on your computer. This lets you import and export GPS routes you already have on your device, ones you’ve made or purchased from getamap, and ‘ready-made’ authored routes from the AA, Country Walking Magazine and Trail magazine. If you have another type of handheld device with GPS capability you can still import and export routes in GPX or KML format by connecting your device by USB (universal serial bus) cable and clicking the ‘Import a route data file’ icon on the getamap toolbar . You’ll see your device listed as a drive/folder and then you just have to highlight the file to import it to getamap and show it on the map. To export a route click on ‘On my map’ and then click ‘export’ under the route you want to export. You can then save this to your computer or
