DICK DELUCA

I have a Dremel Variable Speed 4000 and I have been useing a Solid State variable speed foot control Model #9 LowBoy $36.00 (all aluminum cast) (no plastic) made by the Lucas Dental Co. Email: Lucadent@Verizon.net with my Dremel dialed up the the highest speed and have had no problems as long as I keep the Dremel Variable Speed at its highest.  What this does is eliminates the Variable part of the Dremel.  Sincerely, Dick DeLuca

No. When trying to use a variable speed controller attached to the Variable Speed MultiPro rotary tool, the two variable speed switches will work against each other and the variable speed switch on the rotary tool will eventually burn out; making your tool inoperable.
