Can i use a fiber optic cable?

I’m not a 100% sure that I understand your question, but here’s some basic information “i have bought a 24 mbp/s speed” – by this I assume you mean that you contracted for a high speed internet service with a 24 mbp/s speed You have a “toshiba satellite L500 -11N” laptop OK – your service provider will provide you with a box called a modem that will allow you to access the Internet You will be able to connect to the modem with an Ethernet cable for sure That cable will handle the 24 mbp/s speed – no problem Depending on the modem, it may or may not be a combination modem/router and it may or may not be wireless. If it is a wireless combination unit, you will also be able to connect using the wireless built into your laptop. In which case no cable will be required In any case, you will not need a fiber optic cable.
