Can I use a fax machine with my ooma system?
It’s very easy to use internet fax service. I personally use PopFax.com for the past 3 years and I am really happy with it. They offer unlimited and free income fax and the price for sending faxes is only 0,05 EUR/page and lots of other new options. Look on FAQ page.
ooma does support fax machines, but can only do so on a best effort basis. We recommend that you connect the fax machine to the back of your ooma Hub device and dial the prefix *99 before you place an outgoing fax call. If you have a high-performance Internet connection, you should have no problems with short faxes (less than 5 pages).
