Yes, you can. Once, I made an NES joystick that connects to my Famicom using a spare 15-pin controller cable. I even installed switches that determine whether the added controller is for player 1 or player 2. There is a good chance that you can also use Famicom controllers on your NES. Search the internet for documents on the controller pinouts. • Can I get RGB video from my NES? No. Absolutely not. The NES generates composite video, and nothing better, directly from its PPU.
