Menicon rgp lenses can only be cleaned by menicon solutions. Menicon solutions can be used with any contact lens (The progent stuff is brilliant for removing deposits). Menicon lenses have a special treatment that other cleaners will actually damage so while it may be cheaper/easier to use other solutions… in the long run you’ll end up damaging the lens.
