You can if you have insert points on your mixer. These insert points allow you to “insert” the compressor after the mixers main outputs and before the amplifier. It may also be desirable to use the compressor on individual channel inserts. If you are unsure if your mixer offers these connections, please contact the mixer manufacturer.
