The use of BT cut fundamental mode crystals is not approved by ICS. The reason for this is the resultant high r ratio of BT cut crystals. This is due to the low C1 values that are typical of BT cut resonators. AT crystals are the only approved cuts for use in the ICS VCXO IC applications as specified in MAN05.
