Can I use a “Blizzard Survival Bag” instead of a sleeping bag and mat?
NO. WE HAVE REASSESSED this item since last year and decided that it does not provide enough protection and insulation to act as a sleeping bag and ground mat. It may, however, be used as a sleeping bag and a survival bag. Remember that all equipment must be carried for the duration of the event so these shouldn’t be thought of as disposable items.
