Can I use a 200A meter box with a 100 amp breaker box?
The rating on the meter box will not effect your interior wiring. Most modern houses have larger panels today so the electric companies will usually install a meter box with higher ampicity. You do not need to change anything. But if you put in a larger panel in your house you will need to upgrade the service entrance wire to the proper amperage.
