No. We don’t accept these files, because our Meatgrinder system cannot convert them into multiple DRM-free ebook formats. The recommended upload format is Microsoft Word .doc. If you use another program, either save the file as a Word .doc file or as an RTF file, and then open the file in either Word or a free program such as OpenOffice and then format the manuscript to your satisfaction, following the suggestions in the Smashwords Style Guide.
