Can I upgrade or change my Laptops Processor clock speed?

Yes you can change the clock speed (this is known as overclocking) though the amount you can overclock it by depends on a few factors follow the link below for a guide to laptop overclocking: http://laptoplogic.com/resources/detail…. If you want to change the processor first contact Toshiba support to see if: 1) The CPU on your model is upgradable 2) If it is upgradeable what is the max CPU speed it can take. 3) Ring Toshiba support again and ask the same questions again (to make sure you get the same answer….you would be suprised by the amount of support people who can’t be bothered to look and just guess.) Changing the mobo on a Toshiba laptop can be very costly and very tricky to install for a non tech person. I used to Work for HP notebook support and used to advise people that it would be cheaper and easier to purchase a new laptop rather than upgrade the cpu/mobo.
