This functionality is not configurable in the free version of gwabbit for BlackBerry. The only way to prevent the alerting emails from going to your contacts is to purchase the Premium version of gwabbit for BlackBerry. Both versions work the same, except for those alerting emails. There is no alerting email associated with the paid version of gwabbit for BlackBerry. So if you don’t want to notify your contacts that you are adding them to your address book, the Premium version is available for just $9.99 per year.
