No! You certainly can not just “turn” your PSP into a GPS system. You’ll need the GPS attachment, which are not sold in the USA or Europe. Only in Japan or online, can you get it. It work so do not listen to Andrew. He’s obviously a newbie and there’s no such thing as a PSP GPS chip. Also, the GPS does not connect to the internet to receive signals. Otherwise, you’ll lose signal right away when you drive away from the wifi area. That’s just not how a GPS work. First you’ll need to have a modded PSP (custom firmware) in order for the GPS to even work. Second, we’re in the USA, and the Japanese software and maps would be of no use to us, so we have to make our own. You can search youtube on how to make maps for the PSP.
