The Bowie Baysox are the Class Double-A minor league affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles are responsible for drafting, signing, training and developing all of the players and coaches that are assigned to the Bowie Baysox. The Baysox front office staff does not assist with signing, coaching or training the players on the Baysox roster. Each season, the Orioles host local open tryouts. More information is usually available through the Baltimore Orioles as to dates, times and locations.
