Can I transfer units taken at another school towards the Sacramento State MBA? Is it possible to transfer to a graduate business program at Sacramento State from another institution?

Transferring graduate level units towards your Sacramento State MBA varies from case to case. The school examines each case on an individual basis. Students may transfer up to six semester units of graduate level coursework from an AACSB-accredited institution when they enter the Sacramento State business program. Any additional coursework that may have been completed at the previous institution will not be credited toward the degree program at Sac State. Also, any coursework completed at a non-AACSB accredited institution will not transfer to Sac State’s graduate business programs. Please note that transfer credit is subject to review by the Graduate Business Advising Center at Sac State and require you to provide full course descriptions and syllabi before credit is given for previous coursework. Credit for previous coursework is not guaranteed and must meet the university currency requirements.
