Can I transfer to UCL from a law degree course at another University?

No, UCL does not admit any transfer students into any stage of our LLB degree courses. This is because our LLB programmes are linear, rather than modular, and students must pass examinations at the end of the first year in order to proceed to the second. Nor can we give credit for previous modules passed at other institutions. All applications must be made via UCAS for enrolment at the beginning of year one for the full three- or four-year degree course. All applicants are subject to the same rigorous entry requirements: three grade A passes at UK A-level or international equivalent, reflecting the intense competition for the limited number of places available. All applicants are also required to take the National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT) by 20 January in the year in which they are applying. Read more about the test.
