Can I transfer the settings from Mamut Online Backup?
No, you will have to choose your settings from scratch. If you are a user of Mamut Online Backup v. 1, please do not un-install the program before you have set up Mamut Teamwork 2006. Even though Mamut Teamwork is a further development of Mamut Online Backup, certain functions, such as the encryption solution for example, have been improved considerably. This requires that you take new backups of data that you already backed up in Mamut Online Backup v.1, in Mamut Teamwork. We suggest that log into Mamut Teamwork with the same username and password as the one you use for Mamut Online Backup (you do not need to set up a Teamwork account, your Mamut Online Backup account details will work in Teamwork as well). In Mamut Teamwork, create new backup files of your important data and ensure that the backup is uploaded to the server. Then you can un-install Mamut Online Backup. This way you can be completely sure that you will not be without a backup of your vital data at any one point in time
