Can I transfer my old ebooks to my new computer?
How easily ebooks can be transferred between devices and/or computers is largely determined by the level of protection (or encryption) each ebook contains. Ebooks can be either copy-protected (encrypted) or freely distributed: • Ebooks which are copy-protected are encrypted for use on a specific computer or by a specific user’s account and are more difficult to transfer to a new computer. • Ebooks which are not copy-protected are easier to transfer. If you have copies of your original non-protected ebook files and need to transfer them to a new computer, you should be able to easily copy them to a new device or computer and open them.
