In order to put Music into an Ipod of any kind, you need to download Itunes on your computer. Itunes can then consolidate all your music files to sync with your Ipod. You can add all your CD’s to Itunes allso. I tunes reads in into your computer using your CD/DVD drive. It’s a long process if you have lots of CD’s but once it’s done you can back it up to an external hard drive when you decide to replace your computer.
