Open University classes are not available to students who intend to apply for a degree program. Requests to transfer open university courses to the MS in Computer Engineering degree program will be denied if an application to the MS in Computer Engineering program was submitted while the course was in progress. With the approval from the Program Director, you may transfer up to 6 units graduate Open University courses from SJSU. For an open university course to be transferred into a degree program, you need to fill out the Request for Validation of Transfer Graduate Credit Form. This form can be obtained from the office of Graduate Studies and Research, and must be approved by the Program Director and the Graduate Studies office.
