Can I transfer between Sociology and Ryersons B.A. programs in Criminal Justice or Politics and Governance?

Yes. In fact, these three B.A. programs were designed to allow you maximum opportunities to determine your interests before you commit to one of them. Students who have been admitted into the Bachelor of Arts without declaring a program choice must seek admission to one of Ciminal Justice, Politics and Governance, or Sociology by November 5 of their second year. Students who wish to choose one of these programs or transfer from one of these programs to another may apply for the Fall term prior to March 1, or the Winter term by November 5 to receive equal consideration. All applications/program changes will be considered subject to space availability and on a competitive basis. Students who transfer to Sociology must have successfully completed SOC104 and SOC107 in order to register in third year program courses.
