At present, the Trustee is not accepting transfers in to the Scheme. However, the remainder of this section explains the actions taken at a time when transfers are allowed into the Scheme. Your local Human Resources Department can provide you with a form for transferring benefits into the Scheme. Once you have completed this form, you should return it to your local Human Resources Department. An approach will then be made to your previous scheme for details of your deferred benefits and transfer value. Once this information is received, the Pensions Department will calculate what benefits would be granted in the Scheme in exchange for the transfer value. This information will be forwarded to you, together with any forms requiring your signature. On receipt of these forms, the Pensions Department will request a cheque for the transfer value from your previous scheme. Once the cheque is received, the transfer in credit will be recalculated and a letter will be forwarded to you confirming
