Can I transact in currencies other than the base currency using the SmartTravel Card?

Ans. Yes, your Standard Chartered Bank SmartTravel Card allows you to transact (cash withdrawal and point-of-sale transaction) in any local currency*. For any currency other than the base currency, there will be an exchange rate which will be applied. It is to be noted that in the destination country (i.e. USA for an USD denominated card, England for a GBP denominated card) there is no exchange rate applicable for transactions. However for transactions in any other currency, MasterCard exchange rates will apply. *Except in India, Nepal & Bhutan 5.
