Can I “test out” – get credit for “life experience” – transfer credit from another school?

Many people ask whether they can have transfer credit for some or all of our courses. The University is fairly specific – the course you would like to transfer in as an IUPUI course must match the content taught in this class and the school must have a similar accreditation level to IUPUI. This is Purdue University. There is a reputation that is linked to its accreditation. Transferring institutions must have regional accreditation (many smaller technical schools do not). In addition, some courses require ABET accreditation. It is rare that another institution will have a matching course with a BMET focus and a similar level of accreditation. This program is unique.
