I-test can be used to give a good indication of the need for visual aids in the refractive conditions of short sightedness (myopia), long sightedness (hypermetropia) and age-induced long sightedness (presbyopia).With the addition of a cylinder lens it will also be able to give an indication for the degree of astigmatism.
