Yes, there are many teaching jobs in schools and Universities in China for which you do not require a formal TEFL qualification. However, ChinaTeach will be running an optional intensive one week “TEFL in China” course for those with no teaching qualifications. This will be held in London and in York in August. It will equip you with a range of basic teaching skills and techniques, with particular relevance to teaching in China. Further details will be given during the ChinaTeach weekend.
