Can I take “VMware vSphere: What’s New [V5]” to upgrade my certification from VCP3 to VCP5?

The VCP5 certification requires an individual to be a VCP4 or attend the five-day, instructor-led course, “VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V5].” “VMware vSphere: What’s New [V5]” is a two-day course targeted at the differences between vSphere 4 and vSphere 5. Therefore, this course meets the course requirement for the VCP4 upgrading to VCP5. (Please note: Until February 29, 2012, this course requirement is waived.) VCP3s are encouraged to take the “VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V5]” course in preparation for the VCP5 exam. Please refer to http://www.vmware.com/go/vcp for detailed requirements.
