“VMware vSphere: What’s New [V5]” is a two-day course targeted at the differences between vSphere 4 and vSphere 5. Until February 29, 2012, this class meets the course requirement for the VCP3 upgrading to VCP5. After February 29, 2012, VCP3s are required to take the “VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V5]” course in preparation for the VCP5 exam. “VMware vSphere: What’s New [V5]” meets the course requirement for the VCP4 upgrading to VCP5. (Please note: Until February 29, 2012, this course requirement is waived.) Please refer to http://www.vmware.com/go/vcp for detailed requirements.
