This product contains pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and dextromethorphan hydrobromide as active ingredients. The use of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride with an MAOI drug such as Nardil (phenelzine) and Parnate (tranylcypromine) may cause a reaction characterized by a headache and other serious symptoms (including convulsive seizures) due to a rise in blood pressure. The use of dextromethorphan hydrobromide with an MAOI drug may cause excitation, seizures, delirium and other serious symptoms.
