Yes, candidates who are missing only the continuing education requirements can apply for the designation and take the exams. Candidates must turn in the required 80 or 120 CPE hours by their 1-year eligibility expiration date. Upon successful completion of the exams, the candidate will be awarded the designation ONLY when both experiential and continuing education requirements are met.
