Can I take SCOM2014 as a GenEd?

0

If you are a Science or Advanced Science student, you cannot take SCOM2014 as a General Education subject. Science students are allowed to take a maximum 3UOC of Science General Education, and SCOM2014 is 6 UOC. However, to get a taste of Science Communication, you can enrol in GENS0450 ‘Measuring Up the Universe.’ GENS0450 is a new GenEd hosted by SCOM and is offered in Session 1. Students from non-science disciplines are able to take SCOM2014 as 6 units of General Education, with permission from their faculty office.
