Even though, rimonabant Acomplia is safe for use in most patients, it should be used with caution in patients, who have below-mentioned conditions: • Moderate kidney or urological system problems • Epilepsy • Patients on ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, telithromycin, or clarithromycin • The rare hereditary problem of galactose intolerance Also Acomplia rimonabant is not meant for patients with following disorders: • Chronic kidney or urological problems • Serious psychiatric illness such as major depressive disorders • Previously had or currently have depressive illness or suicidal feelings • Cardiovascular event such as myocardial infarction less than six months ago Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also not take Rimonabant Acomplia.
