Can I take only the EMS related courses then finish the general education courses later?

Yes. Due to an increase in demand, we now offer a paramedic certificate. The only general education classes required for the certificate are BIO 210 and 211 or BIO 112 and 216. You may have to take BIO 101 as a pre-requisite prior to taking BIO 210 at the discretion of the biology department. Once the certificate is completed, you can finish the remaining general education courses and earn your Associate Degree.
