Can I take my gmc sierra to get serviced at a chevy dealership.?
I have a gmc sierra and I live close to a Chevy dealership. So I was curious about taking the gmc to the chevy dealership. A: …and the real answer is… ::drum roll:: You ‘might’ be able to take it to the Chevy dealer (for warranty work). But crossline warranty is voluntary only, and even though it is possible in emergency situations for a Chevy dealer to warranty it is frowned upon but the national dealer council. In fact, my service rep told me I could be charged back if we continued to do crossline warranty. For customer pay service work, you can take it anywhere you want.
