Can i take english, maths and science gcse without having to enrol on a full course?
Of course you can. The only thing you have to do is to apply as an external candidate. Just find a good tutorial college in your neck of the woods and register with them. You can also look this information up on-line. When you register with a tutorial school, they usually sent your entry to AQA, which is the examining board. As an external candidate, you will probably sit your exams (whatever the subjects you might choose, English, Maths, etc.: you do not have to enrol on a full course) at the tutorial school, but it is actually AQA marking them. Another thing you could do is to log onto their web page and find out a suitable place to sit your exams in their directory (you can also phone them up and ask them straight). My advise though is you go an enrol on a good open learning source on-line if you are not well up in those subjects you want to take. This is going to cost you more money, but this way you will ensure you will be given back-up in case you come up against things while you
