Yes, the Department policy is that any course that is not specifically required for graduation, is taught outside the College of Engineering and Applied Science, and is at the 3000 level or above, may be taken on a Pass-Fail basis. You must also follow the College of Engineering guidelines on Pass-Fail courses: no more than 16 credit hours of Pass-Fail total. Note: advanced chemistry electives and electives specified for the options may not be taken Pass-Fail.
