Can I take birth control pill to skip period?
Yes, this can be achieved with taking only the active pills in your birth control pack — skipping the week of placebo pills, and going directly to the next pack. You should only attempt this with your doctor’s okay (he/she can write a prescription for you, specifically for the number of pills you will need in order to do this). Please note that if you are currently on a low-dose Pill, taking them without “a break” will likely result in breakthrough bleeding. (Not a fun thing.)
