Can i take A-level physics if i haven taken double or triple science?
In answer to your first question, I think it highly unlikely. What made you take single award science? It’s usually for pupils who really have no interest in science whatsoever. There definitely wouldn’t be a problem if you took dual award. As for whether science is essential, you need to look at each university’s entry requirements as some may specify that you need not only the grades but specific subjects (eg maths, physics). I’m fairly sure (as I used to go out with someone studying mechanical engineering and who had a friend studying civil engineering) that you might not necessarily need physics A-Level but this is dependent on each particular university. Hope that’s helpful!
