No you cannot. Apple has designed the iPod so that it only works with their software. I used to use Windows Media Player too but moved to using iTunes when I got my iPod. If your issue is that you don’t want to because it looks difficult to use and you just don’t want to move all your music over, let me tell you, I felt the same way. But iTunes is VERY easy to use and it helps you keep your music organized much better than Windows Media Player, so I suggest you download iTunes (for FREE!) and start using it so you can sync songs to your iPod :] it’s very easy! good luck!
